are the shop owners / Police / secourity paranoid ??
but look for your self
A
woman has been left with severe burns to her arms after allegedly being
Tasered by police for refusing to leave an Apple store and purchasing
too many iPhones. The Independent

Xiaojie Li of Newton in Massachusetts said she bought two iPh
ones
at an Apple store in Nashua, New Hampshire last week, with the
intention of sending them as gifts for her family in China. Li returned
to the store the following day to purchase more phones for her family,
but was told she would not be able to as she had exceeded her limit.
Police say Li, who does not speak English, then refused to leave the
store.
To avoid buyers reselling phones at marked-up prices, Apple stores restrict purchases to two iPhones per customer. Amateur footage then captures the moment two officers seemingly Taser Li, pinning her to the ground while she kicks, struggles and lets out blood-curdling screams. Speaking to wcvb.com, Li's fiancé John Hugo said he is outraged by the incident. He plans to fight the misdemeanour charges against Li and is considering filing a complaint against the police.
Hugo said: “Is that proper procedure, really? Beating up a helpless woman? I beg to differ".
In a wcvb.com interview, Hugo holds up Li’s wrist to show the red marks she allegedly received in the incident. He claims Li only resisted arrest because she didn't understand what the policeman were saying.

- M: This reseller deserved what she got, she was asked to leave PRIVATE PROPERTY by Apple employees, Security, AND Police. RESELLERS go to Apple stores in packs, one of the pack ALWAYS speaks english. Even if you don't speak the language you would recognize authority, Security Badge, Police Badge, GUN? Seriously people she got what she asked for.
- M:, tasers are abit harsh to use on just "customers" , and if they are redistributing, they have the authority because they are paying for them, out of their own back pocket. Not like they are robbing the shop.
Also, tasers are for protection only, if she was going for a cop or a apple staff , then I would agree especially if she was armed with a knife. She was not , so there IS NO reason why they had the right to taser a potential customer or redistributor what so ever ! - K: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/woman-tasered-trying-buy-too-many-iphones-174321967--finance.html
Woman tasered after trying to buy too many iPhones
The iPhone is a hot commodity this holiday season. But is it worth the risk of b.. - V: So please let me understand. Reseling is ilegal? So are all second hand things ilegal? And i think if this is worth being tasered you shouldnt be surprised when you will be tesared because you asked the police what did you do and you are being arrested. Sheepole like Michael are a threat to humanity
- M: well, whatever the truth is, as long as she was NOT threatening the staff or the police, they had no right to taser her. that could be seen as abuse. they could have just escorted her out, and possibly back home and politely asked or even get a translator to ask her to not return, come on, people, is a little bit of fair treatment and a civil manner not much to ask for?
- K: but where does it say I cant spend My money how i want ... ok not speaking much of the language doesnt help but Im sure to hold her would of been just enuf the taser was way over due..... seems the police , and security got paranoid lol seeing in every other nation accept theirs a possible Jacky Chan lol
- K: this is being broadcasted around the world , and Im sure a bunch a possiblie tourists will think about coming or visiting the US or even leaving the hard erned money in shops with the risc of beeing tasered . If that happens allready to People who aperently live there how would a shop owner, police, security react then to a tourist ?? Kill them ?? for want to buy a IPhone ??
- C: Just do as they say, pretty simple. I mean she must have been a pain in the ass if they called the cops on her. Cops definitely can abuse their power, doesn't mean they are all crooked. Fact is she was asked to leave for whatever reason, didn't, cops were called, she pushed her luck, they pushed the stun gun button. They would have warned her it was coming. She shouldn't have tried to call their bluff.
- L: If she is living here she should speak the language. She knew that she was wrong & I don't feel any pity for her ~ only for the USA because we allow so much of this crap!
- R: The fields of history are strewn with the dead bodies of police officers who tried to be "nice." A great example is when an officer responds to a domestic dispute. The wife who was being brutally beaten to death by her husband, suddenly turn violent against the officer.
The Apple Store is private property. This lady was asked to leave, yet she refused. The police certain tried to get her to cooperate, before things went bad. There is no way in hell they just came in like cowboys and shot her with a taser.
Without seeing the actual footage, my gut instinct tells me she got what she deserved. - C:e A limit of 2 iphones is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. By making this limit is the very reason they are resold at a greay marked up
price. When we buy something, we should be allowed to resell it.
Re tazering a difficult customer. Lucky she didn't have underlying cardiac problems or she may have died. Tazers should only be used on armed people who are making violent threats. - C:@r: well, you live here and you still cant even speak English! (It's English, not American ya bonehead...)*+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Im sure there will be more responces .... butit will remain the questionwhat did really happen ?? Non of Us where there ......only she and the owner and then the police .....but it truly looks odd ......Is the US so paranoid ?? DO they see in all and everything now an enemy `??And do we really want to visit a country which call's it self " the land of the Free "Not so free after all so it seemsJust My opinion ......what is Urs ??
